Can the baliffs be called out to unsecured loans? I have been off sick for 5 months. My sickpay has run out. I will return to work in a weeks time. Where do I stand? If I file for voluntary bunkruptcy, what is the worse that can happen?

After an unpaid CCJ, yes.
The best thing would be to contact the lender, explain the situation, and ask for more time to pay.

how long did your sick pay last for?
Why did you not take loan protection?
How many payments did you miss?
Have you missed payments on anything else?
