I am registered for VAT.
It used to be the case that if I imported software from the US to be delivered over the Internet, I was not required to pay VAT on it at the time of purchase provided I entered my VAT registration number on the order.
I now see that an outfit called SafeCart.com do not make provision for entering my VAT number and charge VAT regardless.
Have the rules changed or are SafeCart.com not applying them correctly?
