Has anyone any views on Witan Inv Trust. I have a monthly savings scheme and was inclined to increase the amount but suspect there are a lot better performing trusts around.

Most ITs are on high discounts right now. F&C are even worse, I believe. It means that you are buying more of the underlying securities for your money. Take the long view.

The NAV & share price have slightly underperformed the FTSE All Share index over the last 18 months. It's only 56.6% invested in UK equities so this comparison is not perfect. Use to analyse and view alternatives.
Really - I haven't been paying much attention. Why is this ?

Out of fashion, I think. There have been one or two articles about it in the press. Also the insurers have been divesting themselves of IT shares, apparently.
Excellent - about time I started taking notice again !
