The never ending saga of Endowment policies. Took out the endowment through Bradford & Bingley with Norwich Union. Has was sold several years ago and I carried on paying the premiums into the endowment as I would have received back less than I paid in if I has cashed the policy in. Complained to B & B when the policy paid out thousands less than promised. They have upheld my grumble but say as I am no worse off - they produced several pages of figures to prove this - endowment against repayment etc etc I am not entitled to compensation. Is this par for the course...........How many other people have been promised a set amount to pay off their mortgage plus lump sum and have lost out.
