Well at least they've said they'll look at how the planning law distorts - as that's mostly about preventing local access to supermarkets decreasing competition it could be a positive outcome...

They had some small storekeeper moaning about how the low prices at his tesco metro or whatever were cheaper than he paid his wholesaler. Hmmm, there is an obvious next action on his part involving where he bought his stuff from, I'd have thought.
Yes, it's always struck me as odd when you hear that - mind you the people I know who do still visit the wholesalers tend to say how empty they are suggesting that a lot of people are sourcing at the cheapest place, rather than just moaning.
