I am in the UK on a work permit and happily working for a big company. It so happens that I have a friend's company who wants me to do projects during the weekends and other free time. He will need invoices and I will have to get paid after taxation. Is the best way to go ahead to setup a limited company? Or is there any other way to invoice this client of mine? Can I be a shareholder and get paid dividends? This is because I am here on a work permit and I am not sure if I can 'work' with more than 1 company(my own limited company and my full time job).. Please advice..
