Hey, I am considering a career in accouting and i was wondering if anyone has any helpful hints or suggestions for me. Thanks

First, learn how to spell accounting.

Second, decide how far you want to go... do you want to be a clerk/bookkeeper or do you want an accounting designation.

accounting is a job, not a career.

you want a career, join a field where talent is important, such as baseball or literature, engineering, or science.

ha!!...yea be a baseball of football player...that takes a lot of brains.....or better yet, hocky.....(uh player, not the puck)...

Take a few accounting courses at a community college and see if you enjoy it. Worse case scenario is that you decide against it but have a few electives taken care of for something else.

Hehe, I doubt one has to take a *few* accounting courses to see if they like it. :)

take the one with the best looking young female instructor, and sit in the front row. that usually works for me.
