Could anyone tell me where I can look, preferably online initially, to find out whether US accounting is the same or similar to UK accounting (obviously tax laws would be different, but I'm not particularly looking for tax work)?
If my qualifications are not recognised here, what courses should I look up to start learning US practices? Is it common to find jobs that offer a study package so I can earn and learn at the same time? Any advice at all would be much appreciated.
