COMPLETING CGA LEVEL 4

Mar 19, 2006 1 Replies

HI ALL FUTUTRE CGA'S, I NEED SOME SUGGESTIONS HERE. TALKING ABOUT LEVEL 4, WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST TRACK TO COMPLETE IT. HERE IN ONTARIO MANY COLLEGES LIKE HUMBER HAVE POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS COMPRISING ABOUT 12 COURSES AND THE POLICIES SAY THE CREDITS FOR THE CGA COURSES WILL ONLY BE GIVEN ON THE COMPLETION OF THE CERTIFICATE. SO, TO COMPLETE THE COMPLETE LEVEL SHOULD THE COURSES BE TAKEN FROM A COMMUNITY COLLEGE OT DIRECTLY THROUGH CGA BY ENROLING WITH THEM. PERSONALLY I LIKE STUDYING IN A CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT. THANKS.

OW. STOP SHOUTING. IT HURTS...

I expect you'd pay less by going through the community colleges, and have an easier time finding grants and loans and such, as the apparatus for dealing with that lives around the community colleges.

In theory, there would be some risk of not getting credit for courses, due to the issues you suggest; in practice, if you can't pass the courses and complete your college program, you probably oughtn't be expecting to get any sort of "professional accounting" designation...
