I missed a clue when answering a tax-prep online screen partially because I had forgotten that since tax year 2006 I have had to file the long form for state (NY) in order to get a credit for long term care insurance. Is this the correct forum in which to post my experience in detail? I have created a word document outlining my actions from February 13-23. Can I post it here for advice/opinions as to what to do next? It feels like I have "dug the hole deeper and deeper".
