lots of physicists are in finance, in case you haven't noticed.

i guess that, unlike the mathematicians and physicists, people working in finance are too busy and hard-working to have time to waste posting idly to newsgroups, eh?

Might also try misc.invest and misc.invest.mutual-funds.
