This person will manage and lead all external reporting. You will also be responsible for developing this team as demands increase. The firm is publicly traded and has been in business for over 10 years. The hiring manager has been with them for 10 years, great person to work with and prefers to be hands off.
This position will manage external reporting requirements and preparation of all SEC reports including forms; 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K as well as other prospectus and registration filings.
This position will lead the process which includes the preparation of the first draft of the document, the resolution of comments and issues with the outside attorneys and auditors, and the overall coordination of the review and disclosure committee process, as well as corresponding with all members of management and audit committee members.
This position will review and supervise the preparation of appropriate evidential support related to all disclosures and financial statements.
This position will provide technical consulting support to financial management regarding compliance with US GAAP, SEC and PCAOB regulations.
In depth understanding of GAAP, SEC requirements, extensive experience applying those principles to the preparation of corporate external reporting.
Have the capability to effectively address strategic and detailed reporting and disclosure issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Recent experience in SEC reporting for the past 2 years. CPA with big 4 required. BA in Accounting/Finance is a must. MBA preferred.
