With 20+years experience, would a CMA be much benefit??

The CPA exam would be much more difficult and would require several more accounting hours in grad school as well. Please advise.

Thanks!!

The CMA would be beneficial if you plan to go into, or stay in, private sector (mainly manufacturing) employment.

Anything outside of that and it's generally unrecognizable to the public and the employer as well.

And of course, having the CPA or CMA is just gravy on the experience.

Remember that no one generally asks how many times you took the exam, when you passed it, or what your score was.
