I have Premium 2006 for Construction and need to move the data files to another computer on the network (don't get me started - it's an ugly dark thing....) and it looks like Peachtree has changed how they do that. You used to be able to open a pcw100.ini file and change the settings to point to the new data drive. That file doesn't even seem to exist any more.
Is my only option to reinstall pt on all machines? :(

I have PT complete 2006 and I found my pcw130.ini file in the windows folder as expected. Do you have the windows folder options to show hidden files and folders or can you actually see the windows folder?
it's called ppac130.ini - for the info of future frustrated people - and you're right, it's a hidden file in the windows folder. :(
Wish they wouldn't rename things like that - or put the info in their online knowledge base or better yet in the manual. Sheesh.
