Upgrading a 1.3R with MSDE to 1.3R with SQL2k5 on WinXP PRO ... or I can put the system on Vista 32 bit?
Anything I should be aware of or watch for... or that i am missing.
1) download & install SQL2k5 2) install 1.3R and patches 3) restore DB copy from msde (machine) to SQK2K5 (machine) 4) verify my receipt templates and custom reports are copied over to new computer 5) SO Admin - make sure server names and database connectivity is ok. 6) Client network utility Name Pipes & TCPIPDanny
