I'm looking to install a scanner/scale and a hand held scanner. Does this software support two scanners. If so, how do I define it?

Zoo,
I would get a Serial/USB version of the scale and a Keyboard wedge for the hand held just to be on the safe side.
The scale will _have_ to be setup as an OPOS device, the hand held would not require anything.
Zoo,
I would suggest having a Certified RMS Partner come in and setup your system, the amount of time you have spent trying to get things setup could have been done in a few hours by an experienced Partner. You may say you don't want to spend the money on a Partner who is going to charge you $100/hr but ask yourself how much time and money have you put forth trying to do it yourself. I would suggest talking with a few if you decide to go this route
A keyboard wedge scanner comes with a Y cable that connects into your pc's keyboard plug and your keyboard plugs into the other end of the Y cable. Another option is using a Metrologic 9540 USB scanner, we have had great success with this scanner or the 9535 is the wireless version.

Quick questi> Jeff...what do you mean by a keyboard wedge? Will this be used in place of
Not yet Robert. My 3 biggest outstanding issues are:
MSR, scanner/scale.
Once the scale is up and running I will be able to test the configurations you suggested.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks!
