Ageing report

I need to now the age of my inventory by date recieved ( over 1 year, 6monthes etc.) how can I do this. I run a retail store and am selling it so I need to provide the buyer this info so we can figure out the discount for old merchindise.

Thanks for your help Jeff, but I have another question...or rather let me clarify my question.

I'm trying to create a report that lists when items were created, starting with the first day we used this system, up to a one year period, two year period, etc.

I want my final result to be a report that provides me with a list of items, along with the date they were entered into the system, and what the current inventory is on those items.
