cash tender buttons

Is there a way to set up buttons for common cash denominations so that you don't need to key in the amount. Such as $50.00, 20.00,10.00 etc

You can save macros (Alt+F1... keys) with Ctrl+F3. First select some expensive item (then you can cancel the transaction), press Ctrl+F3, select Assignment key, press F12 (Tender end), type in the sum and Enter (suppose that cash type is in the fist place, otherwise move to that tender with arrow key), Ctrl F3 (tender window is open - first time it only pauses the saving of macro), Esc, Ctrl+F3 again (now it saves). And so for the amounts you want... Next time you end the transaction with Alt+F... key, it automatically fills the sum.

We have a small application called RMS buttons which allows you to map a POS button to a macro key. So as long as you have a macro key setup (say Alt F2 for a $20.00) this accomplishes what you are looking for. If you are interested in learning more, please give me a call or drop me an email.

You can set up Tender Denominations in RMS, if you select the 'cash' tender type is RMS SO Manager and click denominations, you can set up the specific denominations.

Then on the register, when a cashier is going to tender, they can press the 'calculator' option on the tender screen and pick the different denominations.

It's not really any faster though.
