copy Security Levels

Anyone know how we can copy one security level properties into another security level within RMS?

for example, I have my cashiers setup using security level 3. I would now like to setup security level 4 to have the exact same properties that security level 3 has. this way i can start building a new security level template without having to totally start from scratch.

anyone know how to copy the properties of one security level into another security level?

for example, I currently have all the cashiers set to security level 3. Security level 4 is unused. I would like to copy all of the properties of security level 3 into security level 4 so that security level 4 would have the same restrictions as level 3.

the reason i would want to do this is because the two different securitity levels are very similar, i just want to make some small differences based on the cashiers priveledges.

thanks, Andy Miller

The security levels don't have a table listing the fuctions available to them, instead, the security table has a list of which features are restricted based on the security level set when you defined the restriction in security mode.

The way to do this, is to enter security mode and restrict or allow a certain item to include your level 4, then compare the change that it made to the security table with a query like: select * from security
