If a customer buys something with a Credit Card and returns it, does RMS process the refund back to the clients credit card?

Even though the new 1.3 "deletes" credit card info after batch settlement? If a customer purchases an item today, and return the item tomorrow there would no longer be a card number in the database. For that scenario you would have to have the card present, even if it is a 'recall for return' type of transaction.

If the customer is returning the item then they should have there Credit Card with them and if it is Credit Card I instruct our clients to not use the recall feature but the Ctrl-F4 Return feature. If the customer doesn't have the receipt we instruct them to search the Journal for the receipt and print out a duplicate receipt. This way if the item was on sale and is nolonger on sale at the time of the return they only return back the sale price and not the Regular price. But then again most of the retailers we dial now a days don't give back money instead they give back Store Credits/Credit Notes/Gift Certificates.
