Need option for displayed price to be based on lower of customer discount or sale price, but not both. For example, currently I have item XYZ on sale for $70 (reg. price = $100). I have customer 'Jim' who has 30% discount automatically set-up in the customer database. When Jim buys XYZ, the price that gets rung-up is $49. I was expecting $70 (i.e. the lowest price considering either the sale price or customer discount, but not customer discount on top of sale price). I've tried all kinds of options using the 'Discount' tab, but it appears the software doesn't have smarts to handle this situation (am I missing something?).
