is the POS system suitable to do transaction during backup of database in the back of server pc?if the database size is too big, for example 1G, the backup time will be longer and eat up a lot of resource of server pc, it will cause POS system lagging in doing transaction, will there be any problem?

big database is 10..20..50gb :) 1gb isn't big :)
No.. but why when the register during the work? You can to backup your database on the night.. when the store is off...
