Establishments that sell liquor and food?

Is it correct that Microsoft has no POS or other type of software for operating a business that sells liquor and food; like bars and nightclubs in particular?

This is correct, Microsoft is not the food & beverage POS segment.

Hi,

If you are interested in a great, simple, easy, fast and cheap solution for Bar & grill or Night Clubs, please contact me.

I would recommend you look at Dinerware.

There are many out there. I would say Aloha is top of the line I have also heard Micros is top of the line but I have talked to several people that say its junk.

The only thing to watch is that some software Hospitality software companies only allow one distributor in a specific region and if you dont like your reseller you cant go anywhere else your stuck with them as long as you have that software.

We do sell hospitality software the same as dell does.(but at better pricing)

You bring up some cogent points Maurice. I've evaluated Dinerware, Aloha and Micros. I won't name any vendor specifically as IMO all of these vendors have sleazy and slimey business models and their products are outdated and cannot generally be integrated with other business software or processes. This market segment is very disappointing.

Drop me a email and I can give you some others to look at.

I have worked with many food service type software and the one I like I am able to do food service and retail on the same database

I would recommend Hospitality Solutions International. I used to work there as an installer for years and I can say as a former employee that they are a great company with great software.
