Angelique - if you have access to Customersource download the QSCimp.exe import utility. If you don't, engage an RMS certified partner for this service - they will do it fairly quickly and should not charge you too much. If none of these are an option, use Access to create a linked table to the supplier table - it's not pretty, but it can be a last resort. Keep in mind that importing suppliers does not link them to items - this is done in the supplierlist table of the database, where the item's id is referenced (supplierlist.itemid) and the supplier id is also referenced (supplierlist.supplierid)

You will be disappointed by the wimpy security in RMS Version 2. All tenders are available to all cashiers, you also cannot establish a maximum discount by cashier or by security level. Hopefully these will be addressed in Version 3 but don't hold your breath (I have yet to see the "roadmap" or "statement of direction") - - if anyone has seen these, can you post where? Thanks
