I have imported a large group of inventory incorrectly (the bar code numbers had spaces and shouldn't have). Is there a way to export a group of items out into excel, so I can correct my error and re-import?

How about creating a SQL statement to remove the spaces.

Sorry I'm new to all this. I have no idea how to create a SQL Statement. I assume that means running a Query in the Administrator. However, I don't know how to do that.
I've learned a little bit about how to write a Query. However I still have two problems.
1-Can I write a query that will bring up the item lookup codes for 1 specific Category or Department? 2-Once I get the information from the query I have no idea how to manipulate the data. I know I can export it, but that does me no good if I can't import the information. Thanks for any help.You can use an UPDATE statement to set update many records at once - no need to export the data and manipulate it just to remove spaces.
