No, we use ICVerify.

I have not used IC Verify but I am familiar with PC Charge. What is the cost of IC Verify? My main question is if a 3rd party software is needed to process FDR.

Thanks for the reply.

I know that a third party software is needed because the approval code comes from outside RMS as a system. I do not know the cost associated with ICVerify.

Problem with FDR is that they don't use the VITAL network which is what RMS is configured to work with. Because of that you need to use either ICVerify or PC Charge. FDR should be able to sell you ICVerify. We currently use ICV with FDR but are looking to change processors for 2 reasons: (1) we can't use a pinpad with ICV/RMS setup in order to process debit cards as debit cards and thereby reduce processor charges, and (2) we occasionally use 2 registers - even though we have an internet connection to FDR, without a multi-user license of ICV we can't take CCs on the 2nd register. Using the built-in card processing in RMS gets around both.
