from and to dates inverted in purchase orders

Recently we started to see the from and to date shown on the purchase order lookup screen invert. For example, in the upper right corner of the purchase order screen the date range might read:

"to 1/21/2010 1/12/2010" instead of "1/12/2010 to 1/21/2010"

This is also seen in the other Inventory query screens, such as transfer in and transfer out.

Might this be something solved by either reindexing the database within the store administration? Or some sql express maintenance command?

Yes, it's a bit odd. The date field shows up correctly on a back office machine viewing the same database.

I was a little concerned because the system crashed this week and we heard some cashiers may have lost their logins.
