Dates in Purchase Order screen

Hello, I'm running RMS 2.0. Currently, when I pull up the Purchase Orders screen, I have to adjust the date range to see a specific set of Purchase Orders. Unfortunately, it appears that the "Date" field refers to when the PO was last updated, instead of when it was actually placed.

Is there a way to see the "Date Purchase Order Placed" instead of the "Last Updated" date for a PO in this screen?

It is very confusing to be searching for a Purchase Order that was created on a specific date (or within a range) and not see it listed because it was updated on a date that you didn't include in your range.

Any help would be so much appreciated. I'm about ready to tear out my hair trying to understand this system.

Thanks

When you click on edit PO the header gives you 2 date fields to enter the date of the PO. One is at the top right and says date placed. This field is greyed out until you tell it the order was placed in the Placement Status field. The second is at the bottom right and says PO Date. Both of these are user editable. To start keeping track of the day you placed an order remember to change the Placement Status to "order has been placed" the default date is the day you set the placement status but you can change that if you want. I always mark that the PO has been placed immediately after I place the order, as I noticed this set that date in the field.

But, when I'm look> When you click on edit PO the header gives you 2 date fields to enter the

It's based on Last Updated. If you look at the main PO Screen You will notice the fields listed at the top are Status | PO # | Origin | Supplier | Last Updated Craig

Another way to look up PO's is with the PO report under Reports | Quotes/Orders . You can filter by date placed, placement status, PO #, PO date, required date, supplier, and more. Once in the report you can drill down into any PO listed that met your criteria. Craig
