If I am reading into what you are asking - it would be that you would like to remove all transactions from register # 4, but retain 'real' transactions on reg # 1, 2, 3 and 5. So, you would want to remove all transactions from register # 4 and the corresponding register # 4 transactions from the database.
If this is the case:
Your best bet will be to actually reverse out those transactions. If you try to script out the journal receipts on register # 4, you will dually have to script every other field that was hit with those transactions.
You may also want to consider creating a "training" database backup your current database create a "training" database from your backup when you want to use the training database on the fourth register, assign it in that workstation's store ops admin - file - connect / file - configuration
- database test the db c> I have a 5 lane register, i was training a cashier on the fourth register,
Good point. I would add that if you do create a training db from your active, original db, you should definitely put some notes on the training db to indicate it as such - not that someone accidentally uses it if you forget to change it back to original. Like make the store name 'Training', delete user log ons from the cashier list so they can not accidentally log onto it, etc.
