how to remove all old transaction from HQ Database?

I deleted the trasaction from a store (store administrator -> database-

delete transaction)

and now i want to delete it from the HQ. How can i do that ?

I tried to create "style:401 request data upload" worksheet and setting the effictive date to an old date. as i read and quote from the manual: "Before uploading data, any transactions in the Headquarters database that were previously uploaded for the same time period are deleted. This ensures that the Headquarters database will not receive duplicate records even if the same data upload worksheet upload is executed more than once."

but it didn't have any effect. what best way to remove this data?
