A) No, mark it inactive instead.
B) Anna got that one for you.
C) Network errors are the most common. Bad or dirty NIC, cable, connectors. Loss of power, should have a battery backup at each machine and make sure to have the router/switch/hub/modem on the battery too.

For Question a) If these items are inactive.. can i use the itemlookup code for another item that is active?
