Gaz, save the file as a csv file. Then you can use the QSImport utility that is available for free download from Microsoft. However, you must have access to Customer Source to download the file. I imported an 65,000 item file using this utility.

Kinnard is correct you can use the free tool QSImport. However, if you are doing catalogue import on frequent bases and need to update records or if you have complex import requirements or need to import direct to HQ rather than store contact me. We have an advanced import utility module.

I just matched up the excel file columns with the SQL table and copied and pasted it into the item table via MS Access. Worked for 7000 items for me.

You have to have all the depts and category codes in the table so set that up first. Some fields cannot be left blank.

YES the RR Import is upgraded to work with 2.0 as well as previous versions. This works against store and HQ database. If you want more info contact me by email
