Include Taxable/Not in Receipt

Is there any way I can place a mark next to each item on the receipt to identify wheter it is taxable or not taxable. Something like:

072528666555 Colgate Toothpaste 2.35 T 425252525255 Vegetables 1.99 353535324518 Batteries 2.50 T

Can somebody help me?
