Inventory Wizard

We tried running the inventory wizard to change item costs, but it does not seem to affect supplier costs. The problem, then, is that if the store places a purchase order, they are not using the new cost. Is there a way to update the cost and supplier cost at the same time?

Rick this is the most crazy thing i have ever seen a software do. I dont understand that when you change "supplier cost" inside of a PO at HQ why it doesnt change the "supplier cost" item. That makes no sense to me at all. My RMS vendor says the only way you can do that is by going to each item and change the "supplier cost" there. I have over 5,000 sku's. I hope that RMS

3.0 fixes this. If you are mak> We tried running the inventory wizard to change item costs, but it does not

Hi Doug

I have a clinet with over a 100 000 SKU's, they jsut import the updates into the worksheets and send it off to each store, also we have different regions where stock from the same supplier for the same item is different, thus we need that stores supplier cost to be different. This for us is great because RMS manages the way it should, i don't see it as a bug.

Can you tell me the worksheet he is using and if he is doing PO's from HQ or from store level. If he is doing it from store level no problem. If he is doing PO's from HQ big problem. Or I must be doing something very wrong.

No Unfortunately he is importing it from his merchandise Planning system,

This automatically creates his PO's in RMS HQ and send to the stores.

So no manual intervention is used at this point.
