Item>Supplier Cost not updating correctly

I'm trying to change an item cost throughout the entire database. When I run the Inventory Wizard, change item costs, the cost in the Item>Supplier tab is not updated. I have tried this several ways, and the Item>Supplier tab does not update when the rest of the db is updated. Obviously the work around is to go into the Item>Supplier tab and change the cost manually. Has anyone run into this, and is there a reason this field is not updating correctly? Has this been logged as a bug?

Item cost and supplier cost are two different things. The item cost is found on the main item tab where the department and categories are selected and is updated when you receive a PO according to your configuration(weighted average or last cost). The supplier cost is under the supplier tab and will be updated from the last cost on a PO from the selected supplier. The cost under the main tab is where your COGS comes from. Not sure which one the wizard changes, but my guess would be under the main properties tab not the supplier tab. Craig
