hey everyone, I am having problem in printing the whole item description in small reciept. in the big receipt if description is longer than space assigned it continues on next line but in the small receipt it just cuts out the description when it goes to second line for example
item description shopping bags color red "thank you"
in small receipt shopping bags col
in big receipt shopping bags color red "thank you"
what attributes should i change to make the small recipt print like the big one

If you are using an OPOS driver for your receipt printer, then you're out of luck. If using a Windo$e driver, you can modify the receipt to wrap the description to the next line. If you have access to CustomerSource, here the link;
Thank you jeff, Actually it was for Star TSP700 printer which uses OPOS driver so i guess i cannot do anything about that. thanks again JEFF

Actually you can. Go to the Star website and download their raster driver. We _only_ use the raster driver. Delete the OPOS driver before installing it. You can then modify the receipt template for it to work.

If the drawer plugs into the back of the printer with a RJ-45 plug (big telephone-like plug), it will work. Otherwise, leave it OPOS.
On the print options tab of the printer properties, select "Document Top" for cash drawer 1. While you are there, set print quality to high and partial cut/partial cut for cut action.
The downsides, is that the drawer open reminder doesn't work and it will open the drawer for all transactions.
