Item Import

Can you just import an excel sheet into the ITEM table in HQ, or do other tables get effected which means I would have to use a import utility to populate the other tables automatically

I tried it with a test item (importing into HQ) and then ran a 250. The test item did show up in the SO DB. QSCimport seems to populate the associated tables (Supplier, etc.).

I guess that is my problem, if I am attempting to update the ITEM table with an Excel file is there any where documented of the associated tables that are also affected.

I don't know about documentation, but the QSCimport utility is available from CustomerSource and at this address:

Just save your Excel file in .csv format and away you go...

Remember, QSImport only works with SO, not HQ.
