StoreQuantity absent in HQ

Here's a sticky problem:

I'd been using the QSC Import utility to create Items in HeadQuarters. Unfortunately, I recently discovered that items so created do not display Store Quantity, Store Tax, or Store Cost. I can only assume other things might be missing as well.

What table stores this type of information? And, would it be possible for me to make a query that selects all Items not referenced in said table so I can add them? This is a pretty serious problem.

The QSC Import utility only works with Store Operations databases - Headquarters databases have both an item table (item master) and an itemdynamic table - this last table is the one that tracks quantities, tax settings, costs, of each item at each store.

Run "select * from itemdynamic" to see which records are not there - but chances are this table is probably empty (or zeroes across the board).

My recommendation is that you delete your HQ db, then use QSC to create a store operations database; then use the store ops db as your template to create the HQ database - this is typically how a HQ db is created.

You can run an insert into query to populate the itemdynamic db but if it was my gig, I'd start over with store ops.

Hope this helps

Does anyone know why HQ ItemDynamic table doesn't get updated or uploaded with data from Store Ops during the worksheet 401 uploading process? Why does HQ ItemDynamic has to be updated manually by manually executing the SQL statement? OR is this just an intial process and then the worksheet401 upload will update the data in ItemDynamic?
