Journal issue

I have a customer in the UK who has to conform to EU standards as it is a goverment run institution. They have to be able to provide a full audit trail. The RMS installed obviously has a copy of all receipts in the journal viewer but the customer has asked if this can be extracted from the software to be stored in a digital document of some sort. For example copy all journal out to word and then copy onto disk. This can then be handed over to the people who monitor the business concerned. Obviously no one will ever look at this as it would be too long winded to search through but it's a compliance issue that needs to be adhered to. Unfortunately the compliance people won't accept that they can come in and print whatever reports off or view information live on the terminals - they insist they need the information to be taken off-site and stored

Any help on this is greatly appreciated
