I have a RMS Setup whereby i'm reprinting my receipts through the journal in the POS. The reason i'm doing this is because i have 5 different printers at different locations at which i need to be able to print to from the Cashier PC, i've simply configured the system not to print but to journal receipts and i then go to the journal and print to any one of my 5 windows printers. This scenario is not perfect but it works ok but with one shortcoming.....security - a cashier can reprint a receipt an unlimited number of times. I would like to know if there is anyway in which i can limit a receipt to be reprinted only twice in the POS. While in the POS , if a cashier tries to reprint a receipt more that twice they should be blocked by a managerial password window, meaning that they should have manager rights in the system to proceed. Is what i'm asking for practical, can it happen, if so, how?
