I am new ti RMS, and would like to set up my printers so that the receipts for a transaction print to a thermal printer, and the reprints print full page to a printer. Any advice on how to go about this? Any links?
Hi king, As per my knowledge and experience this is not possible to do so as when you perform the transaction whatever printer you select get printed on the receipt printer and the information of printer setting mean layout (40 column) or 80 columns information saved into the journal table and the journal saved information as image. Now get the idea if the information save in image so how you can accomodate that image so this is sort of not possible.

I would be interested in knowing how to setup an active report to reprint a receipt? Are you reprinting the journal image or recreating the receipt from the various tables?
HI all folks, This gona be crystal report as I am good in it, and will be deliver to you next 4-5 days. For your all information this will not read from Journal table instead the Transaction and many other tables. As I mentioned in my previous message that journal table saved the information as image so it is hard and not only me Microsoft also not help me for this. I understand that it has valued information but we have many other work around for them.
