Hi again, I was wondering if there is a possibility to print a layaway receipt automatically on a second defined printed (with a letter size receipt), thus without having to confirm (or deny) printing to a second printer (the option which is set in POS Manager, Register Properties, Receipt Printer, option button: "print receipt only after asking the cassier)

pampers,
In the registers properties you can setup receipt printer 1 and receipt printer 2. Setup Receipt Printer 1 as your receipt printer and then Receipt Printer 2 can be your full page printer. You can tell it to print one, both, or no receipts by checking "print receipts automatically after each transaction", or "Print receipts only after asking the cashier", or "Do not print receipts". Hi Craig, Tnx for the reply. I'm familiair with that setup, but that is not what I want (see post). That solutions implies every time you don't have a layaway you have to click 'no' for printing to the second printer. I want something like: if a layaway is tendered, then automatically print to second printer. In all other instances, do nothing (print to printer 1).

For a minute I was going to reply that you would need some custom development, but if you want to play the role of guinea pig......see if this works.
- Create two receipt formats, one for "sales" the other for "layaways"
- On the receipt format for "sales" do not assign an xml template to "layaways"
- On the receipt format for "layaways" only assign an xml template to "layaways"
- Go to your register list and in receipt printer 1 set it to use the "sales" receipt format, printing automatically, yada yada yada
- Set receipt printer 2 to print receipts automatically, same drivers as receipt printer 1, but assign it the receipt format "layaway"
My theory is that the sec> Hi Craig,
