we have certain transactions where we have to print a duplicate receipt. Is there a way to program RMS to automatically print another receipt without having to hit the "reprint" button? Thanks

You can specify how many receipts to print in the receipt properties window in manager. Each type of 'Order' (workorder, layaway,etc) has its own receipt defined in the receipt properties, so it is possible to have 2 receipts printed for a specific 'Order' automatically. If you are talking about a specific item, or customer, I don't think there's anyway to do those automatically(without prompting). Craig

In our case it is items that are being shipped. I'm wondering if some SQL command that said "if shipping is checked, print duplicate receipt". Sorry, not a sql programmer, but that's what I was thinking. Thanks

SO Manager--> Database --> Registers --> Receipt Format --> select a receipt-->
Properties--> Properties Button of the sales receipts , look on the left hand side and you will see a variable for receipt count change that is your receipt request number. And save changes to template.
