I asked this question before but no one seems to know the answer. When I click on the RMS POS icon on the desktop, it takes about a minute before the login screen comes up. I have another exact same system in another location but that one works fine. I tried reindexing the database but no luck. Anyone help?

If it's not OPOS devices, also check your printers and make sure they're all valid. or delete them and see if the problem goes away.

Yes, I've found when you have other printers in the printer folder then RMS starts the print job slowly. It's as if it has to investigate the other printers listed before it sends the print job. I've deleted everything from my printer folder except the receipt printer and one other printer I use for full page receipts. It solved my issues. Craig
Just to make myself clear, it also fixed my issues with the login screen taking very long to load. It now pops up in about 10 seconds. Craig
