When I select the category "vacation" from the listbox, my report works fine. When I type "Vacation" in the "Category Contains" textbox, nothing shows up. I have never been able to get this feature to work. Am I missing something? I've tried the whole word (with exact capitilization) and also parts of the category with no luck.
Category Contains does not work for reports

I am using Home & Business 2008 if that matter...
It works for me, everytime. Q2008 Premier, R9.
The "Category Contains" isn't a substitute for selecting from the Customize Category List; if the categories you want to see are not also selected in the list, they will not appear in the report. Usually I just "Mark All" when matching.
"Contains" matching is not case sensitive; so VACATION, vacation, and Vacation should all produce the same results.
If I enter "home" in "Category Contains", I get "Home Maintenance", "Homeowners Insurance", and transfers FROM and TO "xxxx Home Loan"
I'm using H&B 2008 too and it works fine for me.
