Hi All,
I know I'm digging into the mental archives here, but I still use Quicken
2006 for Mac. I just got a different Mac and I moved my Quicken 2006 application over to it. Everything runs fine, but that annoying Registration screen is constantly coming up.I did research, but all I found were solutions for Quicken for Windows, which was to hold Ctrl + Shift down while clicking on 'Online > One Step Update'. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work for the Mac, no matter how many times I try. And I would go ahead and register, again, if I could to make it go away, but I found an article on the Quicken site that (Article ID: 7474 - updated by Quicken on 11/16/09) which states that online registration is no longer supported and the workaround is for me to just keep clicking the 'Register Later' button. Not really the best workaround.
So I was hoping that maybe someone might know an equivalent solution for the Mac, like there was for Windows? Some sort of Ctrl + Shift for Mac? I hope so. Please. :) Ha, ha. Thanks!
