Newsgroup Support Team:
I have this problem occurred several times sporadically, and the way I have resolve it, it has being by un-installing both RMS and SQL DB, and then re-installing it. But one thing for sure, is that when the problem occurs, the error message is consistent period.
The error box is displayed as:
Error box title = Store Operations Manger Microsoft Store Operations POS
Error text = Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface
Then, I click on the [OK] bottom and a 2nd error message is displayed:
Error box title = Store Operations Manger Microsoft Store Operations POS
Error text line 1= Run-time error '430'
Error text, line 2 = Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface
Checking on the Techknowledge base, Microsoft have an document (ID# 29250), but this document make reference to ((a Epson printer with OPOS driver)); and in our case..
(a) We do not have any OPOS drivers peripherals install (by checking add&remove SW under windows XP control panel)
(b) The 40-column receipt printer we have is a Star 600 windows driver.
I think the problem has to do with the SQL service Manager?????
Any good thoughts / ideas?
thoughts thoughts, pls help
Thanks for the cooperation.
