Making Inactive Items Active

I need to be able to keep specific inventory items from appearing in an uploaded on-hand report that winds up on a webstore site. These are usually items for which I no longer have inventory, but I do not want to delete them, and I don't want them to show in the webstore because I can't get any more. My method for this has been to make them inactive.

Recently, however, I had reason to try to re-activate a few of them. Using the Inventory Wizard and the 200 command brings up a list of all my departments; clicking a specific department brings up a list of ALL inactive items in that department....... BUT I can't seem to figure out how to RE-activate only selected items.

How can I do this? Thanks.

The way I upload the inventory to the site is by creating an Items/Quantitiy list so using the web item option makes sense. That way I can print it all out and mark changes, then go to the item and unmark that box when I need to.

I had used that web option earlier, when I thought I was going to populate a store site using software that automatically extracted the items marked for the web. I never noticed "Web Item" as a report criterion until you mentioned it. Thanks.

I don't suppose there's any way to automatically mark all items as well items, then remove only the ones I want to???
