Manager in Off-line mode

I think you are something near to replication technology in SQL Server, where Manager machine needs MSDE edition. By the way I have implemented this in my company and have 4 different store database sync. to my Head Quarter database. But you really need the one liecense of MRMS for the manager can you accomodate this.

The replication is working excellently in my senario here where I can track sales and other things.

I agree with you. but the problem and solution which I present also have some mean. I said that if you are DBA and good in SQL Server Replication service no need to make copy of database everytime make a distributor, subscriber and so on.

Only you need one lane license for your RMS as you might be running off line. the replication technology is really excellent and I think we should see its implementation.

nothing to edit and there is no previous sales info in the offline database other than what that person has sold since disconnecting from the main database.

Reports or SQL 2005 with Reporting outside of the RMS program.

offline mode, use a copy of the main database instead.

wireless connection via your cell phone service.
