I am attempting to modify the provided Crystal Report 'Register Analysis Report'. Specifically I am trying to add a summary section which summs all register totals for the tender items which show when you turn on individual batches under the Additional Details Tab.
I have Crystal Reports 9 but I believe the canned reports are from CR 5? Is there a way to use CR 9 reports with RMS 2.0?

Hi Duane
I too have been experiancing a similar problem. I am using Crystal Reports
11 (release 2) and have been trying to integrate it with RMS.
My software provider has told me that RMS is compatible with upto CR 8.5, which does indeed leave us both in the lurch.
I have trawled the internet for a package which will allow me to write a report on CR11 and then revert it to a CR8.5 file, as far as I can tell, this is sadly impossible. As is always the way, you can open a v8.5 file as a v11 and save it, but not save v11 as v8.5.
I have a friend who works for a much larger company then myself and deals dedicatedly with their Crystal Reports, and he has suggested that I set CR to run the report, and then automatically export it to *.xls format each time so I can analyse the data.
It is a work around, but short of buying a version of CR earlier then the ones we are currently running, it seems like one of the better options..
Regards
